JEFFREY J. DOVE, PASTOR
The Rev. Jeffrey Dove is the husband of Ms. Althea Dove and the son of Reverend Theresa Dove Waters, the former Pastor of Allen Chapel United Methodist Church of Buford, Georgia, and the brother of Anthony Smith, currently serving in the United States Air Force. He attended Ribault Senior High School in Jacksonville and Gainesville High School in Gainesville Ga. He later went on to serve his country as a soldier in the United States Army.
As part of his purpose-driven life as a true man of God. He became a most dedicated servant when he joined Mt. Pisgah AME Church, Lake City, Fl. During his time as a member of Mt. Pisgah he served as a Steward, Youth Usher Director, coordinator of “Readers are Leaders”, and in countless other capacities. He also holds the position of Coordinator of Voter Registration and Education of the 11th Episcopal District of the AME Church.
He graduated from Edward Waters College, Jacksonville Fl and the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia with a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Sociology of Religion. In addition, he currently serves as the Pastor of Saint James AME Church, Orange Park Fl.
